Novana Wash - Use Novana Wash as a pH-balanced, no-rinse cleanser to aid in the clean-up of urine and feces caused by incontinence. Novana Wash can be used as an antiseptic on cuts, burns and scrapes. Helps to control and eliminate odor.
- Remove and dispose of soiled undergarments.
- Apply 1-2 pumps of Novana Wash onto a warm, moist washcloth or use 3-4 pumps per quart of water directly into basin.
- Gently cleanse area according to protocol.
- Repeat cleansing process if needed and gently pat dry.
- Apply a moisturizer such as Novana Cream or Novana Plus Cream or a barrier protectant such as Novana Protect or Novana Anti-Fungal.
- Replace with clean under garment or collection device such as a diaper or pad.
- Document procedure according to protocol.
- Repeat procedure immediately after each bowel movement or when skin becomes wet with urine or drainage.
